Dear user, Welcome to Shogether! The application that allows you to make a shopping list easily and share it with a partner.
The use of the App is governed by the following Terms and Conditions of Use. By using the App, you accept these terms in full.
User obligations
With the Shogether app, it is possible to list words within a shopping list to allow the user or his/her possible partner to simplify the purchase operation at a POS.
All the content of the list is considered private and has no public relevance in any context of the use of the app, even with respect to a possible partner sharing the list, all the contents will be considered private without any relevance of a public nature.
The user is prohibited from using Shogether for purposes other than or distorted with respect to those for which it was conceived and designed, that is, to facilitate and simplify the operations of annotation and purchase of consumer products.
It is forbidden to exploit any vulnerabilities of the app for other purposes even if such purposes do not violate the law.
License to use
The license to use Shogether is granted to the user at the time of creation by entering a telephone number, name and control code, subject to acceptance of the conditions of use.
The license is intended for personal and private use, transfer operations, even free of charge, to third parties are not permitted.
Use of the App
- Shogether is a completely free application.
- The app is classified PEGI 13 and has no particular restrictions on use.
- The App is intended exclusively for managing the shopping list and any sharing between two users who presumably know each other and intend to share the information they enter.
User Responsibility
- Users are responsible for the information entered in the shopping lists.
- Since the list is shared only between two users who presumably know each other, Shogether does not regulate the possible use of inappropriate language.
Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided “as is” with no warranties of performance.
- Shogether assumes no liability for any malfunction, loss of data or interruption of service.
We provide Users with access to the App free of charge and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind caused in whole or in part by the use of the App or the Content, or for any failure, delay, interruption or otherwise in the provision of the App or the Content, or for our failure to comply with any of our obligations under these Terms.
The content (loyalty cards, discounts and promotions, banners, etc.) is provided to us by third parties and we do not guarantee that the loyalty card numbers, promotions, coupons, information and recommendations are accurate or valid. You should check whether any discounts or promotions have been applied and are still valid before committing to any purchase.
Even if we use reasonable efforts to control the use of third-party websites, in no event will we be liable to you for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, commercial or business benefits.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we expressly exclude all representations, warranties, obligations and liabilities in relation to the App and the information provided therein.
There may be links to third-party websites and companies in the App. We assume no responsibility for the availability, suitability, reliability or content of such third-party websites and do not necessarily endorse the views expressed therein.
Shopping card
To use some features of this App, you must enter (via a specific interface) one or more customer cards (by selecting the card provider and the card number). This card data will be used for the purposes agreed in the contract, i.e. converted into the respective barcode and then used for display in the App as well as for protection against misuse, if further agreed, for the provision of other services.
Customer Service
When you contact us for customer service or otherwise communicate with us (e.g., through optional surveys), you may provide us with information about your use of our Services or other information we think is helpful to us to understand and respond to your inquiries, and your contact information (e.g., an email address).
For example, you may send us an email containing information about app performance or other matters. We also collect information about how you use our customer service features (e.g., searches in our Help Center), any feedback you provide about your customer service experience, and your responses to surveys or questions on a variety of topics (including, for example, what you like or dislike about our service).
Shogether Commercial Activities
Shogether provides an advertising banner on which advertisers, mainly related to the GDO area, but not exclusively, can upload their commercial proposals that will be made visible to users, in relation to the words listed in the list
The advertising banners alternate on the display with processing dynamics that can vary both based on the tags relating to the items in the list, and on the possible position communicated by the user via the app and based on factors related to the selected supermarket chain.
Third Party Services
If the user uses our services, in association with third party services (loyalty cards and advertising) we may receive information from them about him, for example, if the user uses the selection button of a loyalty card he agrees to communicate it in order to take advantage of specific promotion viewing features.
Account Changes and Termination
- Shogether reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use at any time.
- Shogether may terminate access to the App at any time and without having to provide a reason.
In any case, an account or the features offered by the app may be subject to interruptions, suspensions or terminations:
- In case of violation of the terms.
- If the user abuses the services.
- For other legitimate reasons, such as maintenance or updates to the app.

Definitions
User: the person who decides to download, install and use Shogether, creating a user.
Shopping list: the set of words that identify the products that the user wants to remember to buy in the next shopping
Entered elements: the words entered to form the list of the shopping list. The element is generally attributable to a product that the user wants to purchase
Profile name: when creating the profile, the user will also choose a name (arbitrary) with which he will present himself to other potential users.
POS (Point Of Sale): this is the generic point of sale, the supermarket, the shopping center, the grocery store, more generally the place where the user will use the Shogether features.
Promotion: the promotional activity carried out by advertisers through the channels provided by the app (for example through dynamic banners or on the card session)
Advertising banner: represents an area of the display on which the advertiser can publish their advertising proposals (discounts, invitations to test products, freebies, etc.). The banner is composed of a presentation area on the display plus a specific area that can be reached with a touch.
GDO Large-scale organized distribution): the complex of stores, brands and services for the distribution and sale of products (food and non-food) consisting of shopping centers, malls, factories, outlet centers, discount chains, etc. Examples of these chains include Auchan, Carrefour, Lidl, Coop, Esselunga, Billa, Panorama, and so on.
Loyalty card: is a card that is given (physically or digitally) to regular customers of a company. Points are accumulated on this card every time the customer makes a purchase; these points can then be used to obtain prizes or discounts on the purchase of other products.
Shopping partner: Shogether allows you to share your shopping list with one and only one user (the partner). The two users, shopping partners, will see and write on the same list in real time; partners can share other information such as loyalty cards and user information.
